Welcome to Saint Mark! Love Lives Here!
“The first time I visited, it felt like I was coming home.”
A new member used those words to describe her experience at Saint Mark. I hope that’s your experience as well. When we gather, you’ll often hear that “Love Lives Here.” I’m convinced that’s the case because the presence of the Holy Spirit within us naturally generates warmth, hospitality, and love. We gather weekly for worship, small groups, and outreach to our neighborhood because we want to embody the commandment of Jesus – to go and make disciples for the transformation of the world. If you’re looking for a place to call home that’s passionate about making a difference in the world, you’re in the right place. So whether you’re here for the first time or the next time, welcome!” -Drew
What should I expect in Worship?
Whether you want to dress up or dress down, whether you enjoy the classics or are looking for something more contemporary, there is a worship service for you at Saint Mark!
Modern Worship gathers at 9:00 AM Sunday Morning in the Family Life Center, just outside of the Coffee Shop (Yes! There is coffee! See below). Come as you are to hear God’s message to us through song and verse that addresses the modern Christian and the world around us.
Traditional Worship assembles twice each Sunday in our beautiful Sanctuary. At 9:00 AM our congregation of early worshippers start their Sabbath with in worship before Sunday School. At 11:00 AM we offer a slightly longer service (around an hour), which includes children’s moment. In these services you will hear traditional hymns and take part in the time-honored service of the Methodist Church. Communion is open to all and is taken on the first Sunday of every month.
Come join us! We would love to show you why we believe that Love Lives Here!
Where do I take my kids?
Nursery services are provided during both Modern and Traditional services for children ages 3 and under in rooms 220 and 222 near the Family Life Center. In Traditional Worship, there is a short Children’s Moment for the kids to hear a story and then they’re off to Children’s Church to learn a Bible lesson of their own! Click here to view a map of the buildings to help guide you.
What about coffee?
You knew there would be! Come join us in the Coffee Shop just outside of the Family Life Center in the main building for a free cup of java! It is a great place to mingle with other members and visitors alike. Grab a quick pick-me-up in the way of coffee or confection before celebrating God and what He has in store for us!
Sounds great! Where do I park?
Turning off of Columbiana Road into the Parking Lot will lead you into one of two places, both of which connect. The top parking lot is where you’ll find spaces for parents of young children and the handicapped. The lower parking lot has a Senior Lot and is located near the playgrounds. Click here to see a map of the parking lots.
