Welcome to Saint Mark! Love Lives Here!
“The first time I visited, it felt like I was coming home.”
A new member used those words to describe her experience at Saint Mark. I hope that’s your experience as well. When we gather, you’ll often hear that “Love Lives Here.” I’m convinced that’s the case because the presence of the Holy Spirit within us naturally generates warmth, hospitality, and love. We gather weekly for worship, small groups, and outreach to our neighborhood because we want to embody the commandment of Jesus – to go and make disciples for the transformation of the world. If you’re looking for a place to call home that’s passionate about making a difference in the world, you’re in the right place. So whether you’re here for the first time or the next time, welcome!” -Drew
What should I expect in Worship?
Each Sunday at 11:00 AM we offer a traditional service in our beautiful Sanctuary that lasts around an hour, which includes children’s moment. In this service you will hear traditional hymns and take part in the time-honored service of the Methodist Church. Communion is open to all and is taken on the first Sunday of every month. The service can also be watched live or on demand on our Facebook.
Come join us! We would love to show you why we believe that Love Lives Here!
Where do I take my kids?
Nursery services are provided during Traditional worship for children ages 3 and under in room 112 and 114 near the playground on the southeast side of the church. During worship, there is a short Children’s Moment for the kids to hear a story and then children up to 3rd grade are taken to Children’s Church to learn a Bible lesson of their own! Sounds great! Where do I park?
Turning off of Columbiana Road into the Parking Lot will lead you into one of two places, both of which connect. The top parking lot is where you’ll find spaces for parents of young children and the handicapped. The lower parking lot has a Senior Lot and is located near the playgrounds.
